Super Mom Jennifer Lopez Completes the Nautica Malibu Triathlon!

J Lo triathlon
Gotta give credit where credit is due!

Only six months after giving birth to her twins, Emme and Max, Jennifer Lopez finished her half mile swim, 18 mile bike and 4 mile run in just 2 hours and 23 minutes at the Malibu Triathlon this past weekend.

Training with Self Magazine's Lucy Danzinger, and her fitness trainer, Gunnar Peterson, Jen decided in her 8th month of pregnancy that she would do this event, not only to help get back in shape after the twins, but also to raise money for The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

In her efforts, she raised $127,000 in charitable donations.

Matthew McConaughey also participated in the event. His race time was 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Now that this arduous event is done, Jennifer is set to go back to work, and is about to start filming a new movie in the upcoming weeks.

You will also see her on the cover of the September issue of Self Magazine as their newly chosen most inspirational woman of the year!

From superstar, to super mom, and back again. And given the fact that she and Marc Anthony are caring for the kids the old fashioned way, without a barrage of nannies to do the dirty work, I just have to say, Go, Jennifer! You do that thing, girl!!
There is no stopping this woman...from doing anything!

Kudos again, Jennifer, for inspiring moms and women everywhere with your grit, determination and true Diva style! ;)

She is something else. I just had my baby 10 months ago and can't get up off the couch to do one exercise DVD I bought. I'm gonna do some exercise today for sure! that just inspired me!

Go JLo! I was a little upset with her for missing the season finale of Project Runway, but I can get over it after seeing these amazing pictures!

Wow, it's that for real? J-Lo?
Cool! She's amazing especially after only recently gave birth.
Put me at shame. I'm lousy at running and cycling.

Hey, Deb, I'm glad that you're inspired!
Sometimes all it takes is seeing someone else do something that you know deep within yourself that you can do also!

That's right, get up off that couch, girl! I'm rooting for you! ;)

Keep on dropping.... never know, you might win again! I have two weeks left with this contest.
I have yet to see anyone get it twice...
