Time to Cool It

This weekend will see me staying close to home and not doing much socializing at all. I mean, you can't party all the time and accomplish very much. Especially not when you're trying staying in shape. So after last weekend's four day run of pure debauchery, I'm going to just sit myself down and be a homebody for a couple days. I could actually use some time around the house anyway. When you stay on the run, your house becomes a bit of a mess, and if you don't tend to it soon enough, it gets out of hand.

Also, I know that next weekend I will be back in full party gear, with 2 dinners and a "girl's night out" on the agenda. Oh boy. That just has TROUBLE written all over it, doesn't it? ;) Time to recharge!

Fitness Diva, you need these times to cuy loose and let your hair down so to speak. No worries about that. Yes there is the important business of staying in tip top shape, but I say you can do both. In fact I hope you do both. I just had a night of drink and fun and I'm glad I did. Life is too short. Have a great time with your future plans.

I LOVE cutting loose and letting my hair down!! LOL That's what makes all the work and handling business that we do in life worth while!

I will definitely have my fun!
Glad to hear that you had a good time last night, Ricardo! Nights of drink and fun.... OH Yeah! lol ;)

I can't remember the last time I partied, like going to clubs and all that. I just don't like doing them anymore.

lol.

Hey, take care and stay in shape!

Hey, Laarni..

I can't remember the last time I went to a club myself. For me "partying" means hanging out over good food and wine, or going out for drinks with my friends. Picnics, barbecues, bike rides....we can turn ANYTHING into a party!! ;)

Do people still go to clubs? I'm only 40 and I outgrew clubs so long ago.

Good food, drink and company is always fun. My husband and I went out for dinner and a few drinks last night. Nothing fancy, just some alone time.

The girl's night really sounds great. I've been thinking of starting a woman's night out where we all get together and do something every month. Each woman in the club would get to choose what we do for the month. I don't think women connect the way they should.

Hopefully, i'll see you in Central Park Wednesday.

A girl's night out where each woman gets to choose an activity would be great, because you will have good variety with that. You never really know what some people are into until they show you!

I need a grrrls night out! My gal pals are flying in for a day long meeting Wednesday night. We all (4 of us)plan on having dinner and catching up. We are the best of buds (as far as co-workers go).

I bought a few little gifts for each. Not anything fancy, just something to remind them of our times together.

I can't wait.

And as for having a weekend to recharge. It's the best kept beauty secret there is. I always feel great after a weekend of resting and catching up on the little things I let slide. I feel so recharged and organized on Monday! It's a must!
