Cookie Burn!

Ok, now tell me that this isn't just the universe keeping me in check. I've been pretty good lately; nothing fried, nothing fatty, keeping my "one bad day where I go buck wild" a week promise, and therefore, things have been looking good.
So, I decided to indulge myself a bit further and make me some cookies.
Well, I got two results from this little venture. One good:

cookies

...and one not so good!

This little blister came from the stove slapping me on the wrist as I reached in to get these babies out!
Don't worry....won't have to tell me twice! Be a long time before I even THINK about making those cookies again! ;)

Ouch!!! I hope you enjoyed the cookies anyway. It must be catching because I burnt my hand Sunday like this. I was in such a rush to get the pan out of the oven...couldn't wait...LOL...that I burnt my hand good.

Naah ;) It's great to have days where you just skip all the being-healthy mind. It's a must!

Hi Fitness Diva,
Your cookies look really good. I burned my hand in the oven, by being silly. I was actually turning the chicken over from inside the oven, I know, pretty stupid of me. I figured that pan looks really hot and I didn't want to take it out yet. My hand slipped and got burnt on the oven rack. It is healing pretty good now.

I hope your cookie burn, doesn't stop you from making those delicious cookies again, when you want them. Have a fun day! :-)

I heard that a toothpaste can works wonder on your blister scar. I am not sure whether it's working though :D

Hey, your cookies look delicious. Continue baking then? :)

Cookies are good, but boy are they evil sometimes. Hopefully the burn will go away soon enough for you.

Sorry for your injury, but don't let a little burn keep you from those moist-looking, delicious-looking cookies. They look worth it. Not gonna eat 'em? I'll take 'em. - Mine come out like rocks!

Ouch!

You sure know how to find your way around the kitchen.

You might be like me, I cook stuff either very well done or burnt!

But I can make a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich...

ouchy!!...I know how these burns hurt!!

ooh, that looks nasty. Keep neosporin on it to minimize the scarring. I've burned myself so many times on things....it never keeps me away for long! Especially if it's baked goods! :D

Definitely was the universe. Whenever I go off my diet and bake, I burn myself. Is it the subconscious trying to keep us in check?

Ouch!!! The cookies look delicious but the burn does not. I hate when I do that and I hope you feel better soon!

I hope the cookies were worth the pain. I feel for you.

I'm a sucker for chocolate chip cookies also. I can go months without eating them, but when I have just one, I'll want 10.

Hi Fitness Diva,

Oh Wow! That's a nasty burn, and the ache can last for a couple of days. I hope the cookies were worth it. The way it looked, I'm sure they were. I can almost smell them and imagine their taste.

Don't get too excited when it's your day to be bad...about eating. Take care. :-) --Durano, done!

I wish my stove would slap me when I bake cookies or my cabinets would hit me in the head when I go to take the cookies out of them or the refrigerator would kick me when I open it to find something to shovel into my face...but alas, I do not live in a Roger Rabbit world. :(

This is why I don't let my girlfriend cook. She always either injures herself, or injures the food. Sometimes both! lol.
