Being a Fierce Example - While Working Some Core!

I'm teaching even when I don't realize it. Here I am, just minding my own workout, and I get some unexpected company. Her expression at first is priceless! :)

Earlier, while teaching my boot camp, a group of little boys decided to join in on the sidelines (clowning, of course), which is all good. I think it's great for kids to see their parents and other adults exercising, and to find it fun.

This is how it's done, kids! Take notes! ;)

Totally agree. I saw an aerobic season yesterday night where all the ladies were doing it and being followed by youngsters behind. Some of them I believe not more than 5 years old. So cute! :)

Happy Sunday!

It's really a great idea.
Kids must be having fun watching their parents exercising. This might create interest in their minds too.
Too sweet idea!

Diva, it looks like that you have a group of "secret admirers" here! Isn't it means you're the fitness celebrity now?

By the way, that little girl seems to be interesting of what you're doing here, as she just jumped down from the bicycle and watching you closely!

Looks like that girl wanted to get by but was blocked by a solid lookig plank! Yeah sometimes when I am exercising outside kids will clown around...watch, mimic etc.

When my daughter was young she would join in for a few minutes on Yoga sessions.

I remember when I was going to my yoga class a lady comes there with her kids..the kids also do yoga with us but the teacher teach them some simple postures..and breathing/roaring like a tiger..the kids have lot of fun there and we enjoy looking at their naughty/funny expressions :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. Am just making my presence felt, my friend.

Thanks for the insightful post. It is interestingly innovative. May I be so privileged to follow your every post? I have been dropping your EC. Hope you're in the best of health.

Blue, I think all kids should see their parents and other adults exercising and being physically active. That's what plants the seed!

Plan your health, I agree. kids love moving anyway. When they have a great purpose for it, it's even better! ;)

Wilson, I'm working on it! LOL
You should have seen those little boys, though. They were really funny!

Robert, she could have attempted a BMX biker jump if she was so inclined! LOL
She sat down, whipped out a banana, and kept me company for a few after that plank.... ;)

Sudha, as I'm teaching classes in the park the kids are always fascinated and love to follow along. I think it's pretty cool!

JessQ, Happy Mother's Day to you as well. Please continue to stop by! :)

If kids watch their parents exercising the kids may all feel interested to do regular exercise.
Nice idea Diva.

Thanks

At first I thought she was going to ride her bike over you! But she did seem very interested in what you were doing.

We do a little work on the WII. My grand daughter has to have her turn also. I think it is the greatest. We do more walking outside now that the weather is better.
Thanks for visiting Grampys place.

Gotta love the plank! You have clean, solid form missy. Keep it up. If you have a core & Ab routine you should def post it up.

P.S- Is no one else gona say it? Diva, you have great bum. I'm sure you just inspired a ton of people, because hey, that's what you get when you Do Work! =)

Cheers.

Heidi, she was a cool kid!

Thanks a ton, Mike! I'm tryin'! ;)

KY, I totally agree. Just like when you see your parents sitting around just being couch potatoes, you're more likely to become one also.

Daisy, if she had been one of those mean kids, she might have tried to!
lol! But no, this one was a good girl! ;)

Grampy, I want a Wii so bad!!
Maybe for my birthday... :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Ok, Fit Jerk is trying to make me blush up in here, y'all! ;)
Thanks, FJ. Compliments will win you big points here! ;)
As for vids, I'm working on a few things, so stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by!

Yeah, you're the fitness celebrity in my mind.

The kids tend to follow what their parents were doing.

My young son used to follow my actions when I was doing aerobics while watching TV programmes.

I think you had a close call there. That little girl was flying along on that bike, good job her brakes worked.

Hey Diva!!!
Maybe she was also thinking..."I want to be FIT 'like that' when I grow up." :-)
