Copycat or Coincidence???

I'm just sayin'.....

You tell me.

And not the first time from this source, either. A post subject here or there...
The hits just keep on comin'! ;)

Is imitation really the sincerest form of flattery? Well, I ain't flattered! lol

Anyway.....

I must be doin' somethin' right, cuz folks are copying me left and right. Doesn't crash my world or anything, but it does burn my butt when I see it.

I'ma keep doing me, though. Because I'm definitely onto something here! ;)

You rock, Diva! That's why they copy you!

Don't waste your energy on what others do...you are great at what you do, and are known for it... be proud someone just might be a copycat!!!

Cheers

Diva, instead of wasting time chasing down the copycats, it's better for you to focus on your work.

After all, those copycats won't survive too long.

Thanks, Daisy girl! I agree! ;)

ok, zotrim... could be.

Jody, thanks! I don't know that it's intentional, but it's definitely a take on my own logo.

Heather and Wilson, you're right. I just have to go after one more before I quit, though...
I'm actually sending a take down notice to a scraper's host as we speak. (that to me is far more serious than this little thing here).
I guess it's the fighter in me that finds it hard to just sit and take it!
But good advice. I'm going to focus forward from here on out...

You must be doing something right because nobody copies me (thank goodness). You are the original so all else falls to the side.

I don't think the images look anything alike - they both look like 1000 other images I've seen in fitness magazines. I can't believe you would call someone out over something like this. I would be furious if I was the author of the other blog. I read fitness blogs and magazines all the time and people write articles on subjects that have been written about before. Unless you have proof that someone is plagiarizing your work I wouldn't go around slandering them you just make yourself look bad. I don't even know this person that writes the other blog - the post you wrote just really upset me.

You are the REAL deal :)

Pfft, I love competition... because then I get to rock them outa the water! You remember the dude who copied your content a while back Diva? He cowered like a little panzy after you delt with him. That was girl power!

But, at least your situation is questionable here... check out this loser: http://www.thefitjerk.com

Trying to compete with the one and ONLY: http://www.fitjerk.com

What was his thought process? "Hmm... lets put the word 'the' in front of THIS guy's name and I can be just as good!" Pfft...

I haven't even bothered with this clown, but if you want to show him some fierceness on my part. That would be some killer entertainment Diva!

Cheers ;)

P.S- You do look better... you have that "glazed" look that people get after a SOLID workout. Diva does work! I like it.

whoa!
is it just the logo or there are posts of yours that were copied? well, plagiarists are flooding the blogosphere these days and it would be too unwell to be a victim!

thanks, nessa, Heidi and Fit Jerk.

Sheila, while there are few original topics out there on most fitness blogs, for me it's not the topic - it's the timing.
I post a video giving tips on sticking to your diet, and then two days later, you do the same.
I post on my blog "this is how I'm being inspired today", and a day later, on your blog i see you post "Get Inspired!". I start a theme on my blog, like a video window, or fitness tip of the day, etc, and then, right behind me, you do the same or similar.
When that type of thing happens consistently, you know you're being copied. Or, to say it in a much 'nicer' way, someone has decided to get their blogging inspiration from you. In either case, you're not thinking for yourself, but just riding someone else's coat tails.
The image, while debatable, is VERY similar.

Commonwealth Eye and rareJonrez...thanks, points well taken. I've already turned the page! ;)

My sister has a fashion blog and it MUST be unique in the midst of the gabizillion of fashion blogs out there. I always say that if you stay true to your own creativity, everyone can shine. Your personality shines through on this blog and things like that will always display uniqueness.

The copycat doesn't have lean upper arm muscles like you do. :D
I think I've seen that photo somewhere already. Just can't remember where...

Yeah you definitely look better...a lot more muscle. Although there's a possibility it's just a coincidence...?
