A Cheesecake Pancake? Why the Hell Not?? ;)

International House of Pancakes has just unveiled its newest creation -- the Cheesecake Pancake. Dear God, help us all!! I'm renaming it "A Quick Ticket to Your Fat Pants on a Plate". And if you have it more than once a week, it will be!

Apparently, the new trend in fast food cuisine is getting the MOST calories you possibly can into ONE food item. Not to be beaten by KFC's "Double Down", a sandwich with two pieces of fried chicken as the bread, I Hop decided to see 'em and raise 'em on that one. While I do think that KFC is gonna win this hand, I'm still awesomely amazed at the pure balls I Hop has in coming up with this thing....
I mean, WOW!

I Hop's new "Cheesecake Pancake" is a pancake, then cheesecake, and another pancake, covered in strawberries, blueberry or cinnamon apple compote, with whipped cream on top.
Stay tuned for their next creation -- a big heaping bowl of lard, butter, whipped cream, syrup and powdered sugar on top of cake. They're still trying to figure out a name for that one, but no worries...they'll figure that out later!

I Hop did not provide any nutritional information for this lovely creation. Hmmmm..... I wonder why??? :/

The pancakes will be available through June 20 at participating IHops. I'm guessing only until then because they do have a conscience?? Um, yeah...

Well, good luck to those of you that do dare to clog up an artery with this one! Looks like a fun way to die, I swear! Go for it! I could use a few new clients! Mama needs a new pair of Skechers!! And a new yoga mat. Please!;)

What caloriffic monstrosity will they think of next??? One can only wonder! In the meantime, I might have to go to I Hop and do some field research on this one -- just once! ;)

Hey Diva, I saw that advertisement the other day and thought how outrageous it was, that they had to put cheesecake in with a helping of pancakes. Now I thought they were suppose to give the nutritional values according to the Government guidelines. You go girl and check this out. Nice post, a little sweet but good.lol

That is just too much.. I have to admit it sounded a little good at first, but the picture of it doesn't look good. I haven't heard of this new pancake. I don't eat ihop often & won't be trying this new cake.

Those commercials sure do make the cheesecake on the pancakes look good, but so many calories and fat must be in that, I think I will pass.

I actually think the texture would be horrible. But you just know anyone who really doesn't care what this will do to a body will also probably put syrup on top of it.

I love pancakes. This one is worth a try but I'm sure this is not available in our place. LOL

The photo just made my mouth to water. Whew!

Yikes....that is pure heart attack food to me. Why is it that no matter how much info is out there on healthy eating....these fast food places continue to flood the people with the wolf dressed in sheep's clothing type foods.

Food to me is like a guy....the better it looks...the farther away I get :)

I love your thoughts and more so your eye-candy guy of the day~

Just one more example of the lard assing of America. Restaurants are disgusting.

why don't you try it once to remove your curiosity and can estimate the number of calories in these pancakes.
but don't you become addicted because that delicious and do not forget to always back to gym.

I've seen the advertisement for this many times as well, and it was kind of hard to believe what I seen at first. I Hop wanted attention, and they're certainly getting it will continue to do so.

It might look good on the surface, but I don't like the thought of cheesecake on pancakes.

Have a good one my friend!

This kinda looks good but a killer to anyone's diet. What are the nutritional facts of this pancake?

Hey, at least with the Cheesecake in the Pancake, you get some protein too, not just the Carbs. We need to treat ourselves sometimes, right?

I like the title also...clever. However, what about Personal Responsibility and choice? I think the outrageous thing really is the fact that you all think that the restaurant is the big bad wolf. People can decide for themselves if they want to indulge in something once or more, but please spare me with the - how can they do this finger wagging! This country is becoming a nanny state of whiners wanting the government to regulate everything. Folks should grow a brain and think for themselves. And, it's ok to have sweets once in a while, but it's not ok to big brother every aspect of our lives...YUK!

"A Quick Ticket to Your Fat Pants on a Plate"? BAHAHAHAHA! I have to say, it kinda sounds sinfully good but...really not worth it for me. I work too hard to kill my diet like that.
