Look at you! You need to have your own fitness and health show. I loved the journal idea and you look great. Great tips. I think I will give it a whirl though I am horrified to think how much I eat a day (even though it is healthy). Loved the vid!

Thanks, Heidi! From your lips to God's ears! ;)

I actually like journaling because I'm a list junkie. I love making to do lists and writing out plans for things. I can actually look back in old notebooks of mine and see my food lists and workout plans from way back in the day.
One that made me laugh was one years ago where I tried to invent the "apple diet", where you ate nothing but apples and drank water for 5 days. Umm... that didn't work out too well....LOL!

Anyway, thanks for your kind words and support! :)

Great video...I feel as though I've been on a diet for most of my life...never seemed to be able to get it right!!! Lost and gained far to many pounds to mention! I've read everything there is out there...so it isn't as if I don't know the drill.....

I'll come back to watch your videos as I like the live aspect...
Thanks...
Cheers

I also hate to think about how many calories I'm supposed to eat a day! I know it's healthy, but I have a hard time doing it.

Oh, ok. Check! I'm back on the calorie counting website (3rd day back). I've been keeping up with my calories and nutritional values. Next...

I really like the journal idea. I find I do much better with eating right and working out if I write down my goals to keep myself accountable!

The video idea is great, too, you should do more of these for sure!

P.S. Present for you on my blog :)

Nice video! You're 100% right, journaling is an excellent way to help someone stay motivated to lose weight. I had a difficult time in the beginning, and that was mainly due to the fact I was very unorganized and didn't keep track of my successes and failures.

Wow! What Heidi said! Great video and tips! I know this is a necessary step, but it's hard to keep it up. But, you make it seem easy! Maybe it's time to give it another try!

Wow Diva you look fantastic. I am really trying to get healthy for myself and my children. My biggest problem is always not knowing what is good or bad for me to eat. Keep the tools coming I'm ready for them.

Hi Diva, such a nice video. Good points of weight loss like meals, exercise and thoughts. Good idea and great work.

Great video Diva!
You are so right...thoughts, emotions and overeating often go hand in hand. The sad thing is, you can do it and not even realize you've already eaten a whole bag of potato chips. That can cause a setback for sure.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Great video and great tip! When I journal it seems that I get down to figuring out what's for supper that is only 40 calories because I didn't budget my calories right during the day. Your idea totally eliminates that problem - thanks for the advice!
